Vintage Italy Hollywood Regency Porcelain Roses Gold Gilt Tole Wall Rack Hanging
This is fresh from an estate where most of the decor was 1960s 1970s and the entire house was done in the Hollywood Regency French inspired style. This came out of the bedroom and I thought it was a rack of some sort to hang things originally. Could be just a wall art display.
I can not find another one to compare to. It is large at 24" across gold gilt twisted wire or 25 1/2" from rose to rose. It is 36" tall and about 2 1/4" deep.
The porcelain yellow roses are about 2 1/2. Under a loupe I see a few of the porcelain petal edges have tiny pinhead nicks not worth noting.
See me pointing in close up to two of the nicks. There are a couple other nicks that are comparable. Has a hang metal tag that reads made in Italy. The home was very clean and and items were well cared for.
